Our "Votes Count" report is out – and the results are mixed. Will Congress step up?

The good news: Pre-K Now's annual report found that a majority of states sided with decades of research and are continuing to prioritize pre-k funding.

The bad news: The report also found that some states were forced to make big budget cuts and, without federal leadership, total funding for state pre-k will see almost no change.

But the thousands of families who don't have access to quality pre-k aren't happy with the "status quo". In these economic times, they need proven, forward-thinking investments.
