One Step Closer to Pre-K for All

DC's political leaders are getting the message -- the time has come to give every child in the District access to a high-quality pre-k education. At our town hall meeting last week, Council Chair Vince Gray, together with Council Member Kwame Brown, announced that pre-k for all will be a priority on the DC Council’s legislative agenda this year.

Thank Vince Gray and Kwame Brown for their leadership on pre-k -- and make sure they know you are a part of DC's growing pre-k movement.

Subject: Thank You for Your Pre-K Leadership

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

As a leader in the growing pre-k movement, I am writing to thank you for keeping pre-k for all at the forefront of the Council's agenda, as you announced at the Pre-K for All DC Town Hall on February 8.

I am part of a growing movement of families, teachers, and community and business leaders who believe the District can ensure every child has a strong start in life -- by ensuring access to quality pre-k for all three and four year olds.

Thank you for your continued leadership. I'll be paying close to attention to this critical issue, and I look forward to working with you to ensure that all of DC's children enter school ready to learn and succeed in later years.

Sincerely,
